These mini scissors are made by Hasegawa Cutlery Ltd., established in 1933 in Seki, Japan. Each pair is adorned with a pink silk tassel from Tassel Studio Marimo in Fukuoka, Japan. The scissors come with their very own little leather case and are presented in a beautiful little gift box. The Cohana mini scissors are a great example of Japanese craftsmanship and would make a very special gift for the stitcher in your life.

What size needle should I buy?

Although needle size is really quite a personal preference, the general recommendation is that you choose a size 24 needle for 14ct aida or 28ct evenweave/linen, a size 26 needle for 16ct aida or 32ct evenweave/linen and a size 28 needle for 18ct aida or 36ct evenweave/linen.
