Linen is a beautiful fabric on which to stitch and is particularly suited to projects in which part of, or all of, the background is left unstitched. As we usually work over two threads when stitching on linen, 32 count linen is equivelent to stitching on 16 count aida. Our 100% linen needlecraft fabrics are made in Gemany by Zweigart. 

Please note: although every care has been taken when capturing the photographs of our fabrics, it is nearly impossible to produce an image on screen that perfectly matches their real life colour,

What size needle should I buy?

Although needle size is really quite a personal preference, the general recommendation is that you choose a size 24 needle for 14ct aida or 28ct evenweave/linen, a size 26 needle for 16ct aida or 32ct evenweave/linen and a size 28 needle for 18ct aida or 36ct evenweave/linen.
