This book features motifs from various designers, all of whom took inspiration from the palette of 35 new colours which DMC launched in 2017. We also have a gift tin which features a full skein of each of these 35 colours and can be found here.

The various patterns always form a complete design, but certain motifs can also be used individually to decorate clothing or home accessories, for example. The charts are provided with a clear overview of the required DMC embroidery floss. The book has an A4 format (21 x 29cm).

What size needle should I buy?

Although needle size is really quite a personal preference, the general recommendation is that you choose a size 24 needle for 14ct aida or 28ct evenweave/linen, a size 26 needle for 16ct aida or 32ct evenweave/linen and a size 28 needle for 18ct aida or 36ct evenweave/linen.
