This type of theader is a well-known classic among sewing enthusiasts, both in the domestic and professional fields! The aluminium plate provides a firm grip for threading, and it has a beautiful nostalgic design. This Prym threader can be used for fine yarn, and for hand sewing needles with a small eye. The needle threader can also be used for threading coarser yarn or wool, as long as you take caution not to use force while threading.

What size needle should I buy?

Although needle size is really quite a personal preference, the general recommendation is that you choose a size 24 needle for 14ct aida or 28ct evenweave/linen, a size 26 needle for 16ct aida or 32ct evenweave/linen and a size 28 needle for 18ct aida or 36ct evenweave/linen.
